One death and 178 new positives with COVID-19 have been recorded in the last 24 hours in Kosovo. This has been announced by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK) in the last report. During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, were tested a total of 2,040 samples taken from the UCHSK and the tracking of case contacts in the field, of which, 178 cases resulted positive. Within 24 hours a case of death with SARS CoV-2 positive was reported. The case of death is from the municipality of Prishtina (65 years old). The total number of positive cases is 64,519 out of 268,625 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,545. During the last 24 hours, 267 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 56,028 cases, while the number of active cases is 6,946.
