One dead and 299 new cases of coronavirus in Kosovo
The National Institute of Public Health has announced that during the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, a total of 1,825 samples taken from HUCSK and tracking of case contacts in the field, were tested, of which 299 cases resulted positive. NIPHK reports that within 24 hours 1 death case with SARS CoV-2 positive has been reported. The case of death is from the municipality: Prishtina 1 case (82 years old).
The total number of positive cases is 54,560 out of 201,918 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,388. During the last 24 hours 526 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 47,605 cases, while the number of active cases is 5,567.
