The former commander of the KLA and the former deputy mayor of Skenderaj Municipality, Nuredin Lushtaku, has surrendered to the Police, following the request of the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Mitrovica for a detention against him and the request for detention of the other suspects who were involved in the attack on the policemen in Skenderaj. The Basic Prosecution in Mitrovica has requested from the Basic Court in Mitrovica, the appointment of detention for the suspects F.L. and A.L., due to the well-founded suspicion that they have committed the criminal offenses "Assault on an official person", "Use of a weapon or a dangerous tool" , as well as "Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons".
