North Mitrovica is ready to begin the counting of votes for parliamentary candidates
The process of counting votes for parliamentary candidates in the municipality of North Mitrovica is expected to begin soon, while teams are making final preparations to start the process.
This was stated to KosovaPress by the acting head of the Municipal Election Commission in North Mitrovica, Faton Loshi.
“We are in preparations. We are just waiting to start. As soon as the CEC gives us access, I believe we will start very soon,” Loshi said.
In addition to counting votes for MPs, votes for political parties will also be reconfirmed.
Citizens of Kosovo voted on Sunday in extraordinary parliamentary elections to elect the new composition of the Kosovo Assembly.
According to data published by the Central Election Commission, voter turnout nationwide was 36.88 percent.
