The presence of special units of the Serbian army near the border of Kosovo, namely near the village of Banje of Zubin Potok, the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has considered as a pretext on the part of Serbia to cause deliberate provocations. In this regard, the director of the Octapus Institute, Agim Musliu, has stated that such actions provoke the reactions of the Kosovo side. He said that the state institutions of Kosovo must raise the necessary capacities for the security of Kosovo.

Musliu also mentioned the last statement of the president of Serbia, Vucic, which he said should be considered as a warning for such situations. According to him, Serbia will continue to stage various incidents to provoke a reaction, but that it never dares to intervene militarily because it knows that KFOR and NATO are in Kosovo.

The security expert, Musliu emphasizes that the Republic of Serbia is also prepared with military exercises, which are dedicated to Kosovo.

Also, Musliu added that the state institutions of Kosovo should raise capacities with military and technical equipment, as well as an aggressive and factual diplomacy should be used towards Serbian and Russian actions against Kosovo.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Kurti, wrote on Facebook that this approach of their military vehicles to the border of Kosovo is not normal and that they are being watched if they try to cross it.
