Murati talks about increasing revenues, the opposition calls him a 'fraudster'
The Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers Hekuran Murati has been called a fraudster by the opposition in the Committee on Budgets, Labor and Transfers, where the annual financial report of the budget of the Republic of Kosovo for 2023 was reviewed.
The MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, and that of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Pal Lekaj, addressed Minister Murati that every answer he is giving is deceiving the public.
However, the Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, has stated that last year saw a double-digit increase in revenues.
Murati said that there was a better performance in property tax compared to the previous year, while he added that there was also a decrease in public debt to GDP.
The MP from the Democratic League of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, expressed his concern with the state of the trade unions, while he said that state purchases also remain a problem because there is no information about what happened to them.
Hoti has said that the increase in bank profit is also a result of bank profit.
Hoti has also emphasized that imports have doubled compared to the year 2020/21, while he has added that there is also no entry from privatizations in the PAK during these three years. He also asked about the issue of contracts, why they are not being implemented, since according to him, there is a violation of them.
For this, Minister Murati responded to MP Hoti.
There were also reactions from the MP of the ruling party, Eman Rrahmani.
Speaking about the costs of lunches, Rrahmani said that the two parties are producing statistics that suit them.
On the other hand, for the report presented by the minister, Murati, there were accusations from the MP of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Pal Lekaj.
