MPs demand that the social welfare sector be returned to the Committee on Health
The MPs of the opposition parties, members of the Committee on Health have requested that the aspect of social welfare be included in the scope of activity of this committee, a department which in the previous legislatures has been part of this committee. This proposal was also supported by the MPs of the majority, while the chairwoman of the Committee on Health said that she will make an official request to the Presidency of the Assembly on this issue. Even the opposition and the position agreed that the delays for the governing plan and the legislative agenda are preventing them from agreeing on the work of the Committees, therefore they demanded that the governing plan be presented to the Assembly of Kosovo as soon as possible.
The Chairwoman of the Committee on Health, Fatmire Kollçaku, after showing the scope of activity of this committee, proposed that some of the health representatives be invited to report. The first to report was proposed to be the director of the Hospital and University Clinical Service of Kosovo (HUCSK), Valbon Krasniqi, and later the leaders of Primary Health Care and the health directorate of Kosovo prisons.
