The Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu received in a meeting a delegation from the Venice Commission, composed of rapporteurs James Hamilton and Dan Meridor, but also Michael Janssen, a representative from the Secretariat of the VC. In a press release it is stated that the topic of discussion in this meeting was the Draft Law on the Establishment of the State Bureau for Verification and Confiscation of Unjustifiable Assets. Minister Haxhiu together with the members of the working group informed the rapporteurs about the purpose of the Draft Law. Minister Haxhiu thanked the delegation of the Venice Commission for the professional assistance they are providing to the Republic of Kosovo through opinions. "Consultations with the Venice Commission are extremely valuable and as such will continue in the future," the statement said.
