The executive director of the Kosovo Institute for Justice, Ehat Miftaraj, is considering that the law on the State Bureau for Confiscation of Unjustified Assets, which was approved yesterday in the Assembly of Kosovo, is premature, and as he says, it is not expected to be widely applicable as an initiative.

Miftaraj, in an interview for KosovaPress, hopes that all the recommendations issued by the Venice Commission have been taken into account, otherwise the law on the State Bureau risks not receiving the blessing of the Constitutional Court if it is sent to this institution.

The Director of IKD, Ehat Miftaraj expects that the selection of the Agency's directorates as well as other staff will be appointed through a regular process based on meritocracy.
