For a long time, the epidemiological situation with COVID in the country is calm and the number of patients seeking health services with this disease has dropped significantly. European countries have significantly eased the measures, the latest being Greece, announsing that from May 1 it will return to almost normalcy. But in another country the situation is different. Shanghai residents are entering the third week of closure as part of strict restrictive measures following the spread of the Omicron variant. However, in Kosovo the measures taken on March 1 are still in force and they are not expected to be further eased. The Minister of Health, Rifat Latifi, said for KosovaPress that at the moment there will be no change of measures, but that the situation is being followed closely. According to the latest data, out of 888 tests, 22 citizens tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. In total the number of active cases is 499.
