MCC Compact Program, Olmstead: Kosovo to speed up the project implementation
In the meeting between the American delegation of MCC and that of the Government of Kosovo regarding the Compact Program of MCC, it was said that the same will enable a quick and fair energy transition in Kosovo, in a future with renewable energy. Meanwhile, it was emphasized the necessity of intensifying the ratification process and other technical follow-up processes which accelerate and pave the way towards the implementation of the project.
The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli emphasized that this program will save Kosovo's energy system at least 15 million euros per year.
Minister Rizvanolli expects the agreement to be ratified in the Assembly of Kosovo as soon as possible, so that the implementation of the program can begin.
