Marching in support of victims of sexual violence; the survivors await justice
The Day of Survivors of Sexual Violence was marked with the motto "Young people support victims of sexual violence". The two survivors of this crime have said that the spring of 1999 reminds them of the horror experienced by Serbian criminals. Vasfije Krasniqi along with Shyrete Tahiri Sulimani have led today's march organized in support of all victims of sexual violence during the last war in Kosovo. After the march from "Ibrahim Rugova" square to the "Heroines" monument, the installation "April 14" was also presented. This day is now officially known as the Day of Survivors of Sexual Violence.
April 14, 1999 left a mark on Vasfija Krasniqi for her whole life. She said that that day will remain in her worst memories.
