President Vjosa Osmani has expressed support for the requests of the Association of Municipalities of Kosovo to the government.

After the meeting with the mayors of the municipalities, she said that the requests are legitimate, both for the Law on local finances, as well as for increasing the budget for the Centers for Social Work and the financial independence of victims of gender-based violence.

On the other hand, the chairman of the Association of Municipalities of Kosovo, Agim Aliu, said that President Osmani has shown the difficulties of cooperation with the Government of Kosovo. He said that at the meeting they pledged to jointly fight domestic and gender-based violence.
