The head of the Parliamentary Group of Lëvizja Vetëvendosje (LVV), Arbërie Nagavci, responded to President Vjosa Osmani, who earlier this morning said that “irresponsible people with dangerous intentions brought the country here.”
At a press conference where LVV announced that they will take the president’s decree on the dissolution of the Assembly to the Constitutional Court, Nagavci said that “Osmani must show who these dangerous names are.”
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, invited political party leaders for consultations to set the date for elections.
These meetings come after the decree to dissolve the Assembly.“We will see very little; I don’t believe there is any reason to participate in such a meeting, simply because, as we said, this action not only conflicts with the Constitution but is also a rushed measure and not in the country’s interest,” she added.
On Friday, President Vjosa Osmani issued the decree to dissolve the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, as she stated, following the failure of the deputies to elect a new president within the constitutional deadline.
