LDK: The government should reflect and withdraw the draft budget for another complete reallocation
The Chairman of the Budget Committee, Armend Muja, during the second reading of the 2024 Budget Project, presented to the MPs the report of the Committee with 64 amendments proposed mainly by the opposition MPs, which according to him did not receive the support of the Committee.
In this session, the MP from the LDK, Hykmete Bajrami said that after several events that happened, the Government had to reflect and withdraw the budget law, adding that it should be returned to a completely different reallocation, and that according to her, this law should go to a third reading.
She also added that the poor results in the PISA test should be an alarm for the government. According to her, compared to previous years, Kosovo has not achieved any achievements in this direction.
Among other things, she said that according to the data of the Ministry of Education, 33 percent of the students were educated in the country and 77 percent of the parallels do not meet the conditions to teach according to the legal criteria that are in force.
The session of the Assembly of Kosovo for the second review of the 2024 Budget Project, worth over 3.3 billion euros, started one hour late.
