The Democratic League of Kosovo proposes October 31 as the date for holding local elections.

This was announced by the LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku after a consultative meeting with President Vjosa Osmani. Abdixhiku justified this request with the best possible preparation, due to the management of the Covid-19 pandemic, both the vaccination process and the economic recovery.
