The Chairperson of the Women's Forum of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Jehona Lushaku, has said that there is an urgent need for the institutions to respond to the murder of the 35-year-old pregnant woman in the premises of the University Clinical Center in Pristina.

In a press conference, Lushaku requested that all the responsible persons who failed to provide security for the pregnant woman who was killed on the eve of the birth of her baby be dismissed immediately.

She said that monstrous crimes like this reveal the failure of many responsible links of the state to ensure the lives of women in Kosovo.
