The President of Latvia, Egils Levits, has expressed readiness to support Kosovo on its Euro-Atlantic path. In the joint conference with President Vjosa Osmani, he said that now is the right time to strengthen cooperation between Kosovo and NATO.

The Latvian President said that he also supports Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe and asked the EU to liberalize visas for Kosovo citizens. Meanwhile, he stressed that the lack of progress in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue should not limit the consolidation of Kosovo in the international arena...
