The special representative of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has said that they would like to see greater progress in the implementation of the Brussels and Ohrid agreement.

After the meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi, Lajcak said that this agreement, which was signed a year ago, is the best agreement that Kosovo and Serbia can reach. According to him, the reason why there is a delay in its implementation is that the two parties are afraid, as he said, "‘if I do what you ask me to do, will I get what you promise me to get".

Lajcak told reporters that he and Bislimi also discussed the CBK regulation, which prohibits the use of the dinar in Kosovo, for which he said that he had received answers to the many questions he asked, but that they should ensure that Serbian citizens in Kosovo should not be negatively affected by this.

He also said that in the following days there will be a meeting of the chief negotiators in Brussels.
