The emissary of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, declared tonight that the main purpose of his visit to Kosovo has been fulfilled.

After the meetings with the heads of state, he said that he received Kosovo's vision for the implementation of the EU plan for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and that they were within his expectations. He underlined that he expects that at the next meeting on March 18 in Ohrid there will be a document that will be signed by the parties.

"You know, that the meeting in Brussels on the 27th of February was successful, to the extent that both leaders prime minister Kurti and president Vucic agreed that there is no need to discuss the agreement. So the text was accepted and and has been published by now, so everybody knows what is the proposal, what is the agreement about, but of course, we also agreed that for this to become a legally binding document, we need need to also agree on how to implement it. So we need to know what are the steps? What is the sequence, what are the timelines? Otherwise it will be only political binding but not formally binding, that's why the purpose of my visit in Prishtina today is to discuss the implementation of this document with prime minister Kurti. And I can say that we had a constructive important and Very useful discussion", said Lajcak.
