Kusari-Lila: The resolution on electricity presented by the opposition is not serious
In the first extraordinary session held for
2024, where the price of electricity is being discussed, the head of the
Vetëvendosje Parliamentary Group, Mimoza Kusari - Lila said that today's
request of the opposition parties for an extraordinary session does not contain
anything new, but according to her, it is exactly a copy and repetition of the
same requests from previous years.
Kusari-Lila emphasized that the resolution
presented by the opposition parties is not serious and does not contribute to
providing a solution.
While speaking to the opposition parties, she
said that the only solutions they have consistently offered have been
extraordinary sessions and investigative commissions on the state of the
electricity sector. She said that they have continuously abstained from voting
and non-participation in the development of policies for the energy sector.
During the extraordinary session, Kusari Lila called the suspicion of incorrect electricity billing an obvious fact, until she said that for this the citizens should turn to the supplier KESCO and the Energy Regulatory Office.
