German Bundestag member Thomas Hacker has condemned the terrorist attack on the Iber Lepenc canal in Zubin Potok, which he said was a Russian-style attack and that a full investigation is required to bring those responsible to justice.

He wrote on X that it is a shame that the organizer of the aggression in Banjska, Milan Radojicic, is still enjoying his freedom in Serbia.

“The terrorist attack on Kosovo’s critical infrastructure is similar to Russian actions in Ukraine. This insidious attack requires full intelligence,” he wrote.

Local authorities and QUINT ambassadors reacted after the attack on the canal that supplies KEK with water.

In addition to condemning the attack, the ambassadors expressed their countries’ support for Kosovo and demanded that the perpetrators of the attack be brought to justice as soon as possible.

The country’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, called an urgent conference, and then met with the KFOR commander, Enrico Barduani.

The Security Council also met in the early hours of this morning.

The attack in Banjska was described as a terrorist act, orchestrated by Serbia.

Meanwhile, today Prime Minister Kurti announced that there were arrests and material evidence related to this attack. According to him, the criminals will be brought to justice and will face the full force of the law.

So far, the Kosovo Police has managed to arrest 10 suspects, while confiscating a considerable number of weapons and military ammunition.
