After the statements of the head of the Vetëvendosje Movement, at the same time of the Prime Minister Albin Kurti, that they are convinced that in 2025 they will win the parliamentary and local elections, political analysts consider it necessary to align the opposition parties to oppose the head of government. According to them, if the opposition does not have a common cause against the party in power, then the current prime minister, Albin Kurti, will once again prove himself as an indisputable leader and the opposition will have a poor election result. However, there are also doubts that the three opposition parties PDK, LDK and AAK will find a common language to compete as an opposition front.

The political analyst, Artan Muhaxhiri, tells KosovaPress that it is incomprehensible how the opposition leaders are not reaching, at least formally and in broad terms, an agreement to oppose Prime Minister Kurti as a common opposition front.

Although he considers the unification of the opposition necessary, political analyst, Arbnor Sadiku, says that based on the situation on the ground, there is greater alignment of the PDK with the ruling party, the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV).

According to him, the LDK is determined to remain in the opposition for one more term, but on the condition that it wins Pristina again in the local elections. As for AAK, Sadiku declares that Ramush Haradinaj's party has not received any promise from LVV that it will be part of the coalition.

The leader of the LVV, Albin Kurti, in yesterday's meeting with the party structures, alluding to winning the parliamentary and local elections, said that the LVV should win the championship and the cup next year.

The next parliamentary elections are expected to be held between January and February of 2025, while the local elections are expected to be held in the fall of the same year./E.Zeqiri/
