Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has welcomed members of the diaspora to Kosovo.

In a Facebook post, Kurti stated that compatriots living abroad visit the country both as guests and as partners in the development of its future, reports KosovaPress.

“We always need our compatriots, our diaspora — as guests who visit us to ease their longing, and as partners in development and co-creators of our future. We no longer speak of a ‘brain drain,’ but of hearts that never forget: because those who have built lives abroad still feel longing, maintain ties, and carry a sense of responsibility toward our shared homeland. Anyone may be temporarily outside the homeland, but everyone is eternally part of the nation,” he wrote.

In conclusion, Kurti said that Kosovo is fortunate to have its diaspora.
