Prime Minister Albin Kurti visited the Association of former political prisoners, on the 42nd anniversary of the demonstrations of 1981. He was welcomed by the chairman of the association, Shefik Sadiku, and members of the leadership of this association.

On this anniversary of the demonstrations that marked the beginning of a process that led to the breakup of Yugoslavia and the liberation of the country, they commemorated and recalled the events and the path they paved.

The demonstrations of 1981, which started as spontaneous student protests for dignified conditions and equal treatment, quickly gained the support of workers and the entire people, who together demanded freedom, justice, rights, a Republic and self-determination.
