The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has said that the big panorama of the history of the Battle of Koshare conveys the image of almost the entire war of Kosovo, while adding that from dedication and the battle for freedom comes liberation and the creation of the state.

In the solemn session held today in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Battle of Koshare, Kurti has stated that fighters and units from all operational areas of the Kosovo Liberation Army as well as from all areas inhabited by Albanians are involved in the fighting of this battle.

Kurti emphasized that in the middle of this year, a quarter of a century will be fulfilled since Kosovo and its people were freed from invading Serbia and the criminal and terrorist regime of Belgrade.

In addition to these, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti emphasized that the internal freedom of the people is the most total prerequisite for liberation from external occupiers and the most real possibility of the integral formation of the state.

Kurti said that during the battle of Koshare, Russian mercenaries were also fighting in the ranks of the Serbian Army, while in the ranks of the Kosovo Liberation Army there were fighters from Europe and beyond.

He expressed gratitude and praise for all the martyrs and the wounded in the battles for the freedom and independence of Kosovo.

In the Battle of Koshare, 114 martyrs of the Nation fell, of whom some were decorated with the Hero of Kosovo Order.

International volunteers, foreign citizens from: Italy, France, etc. also participated in this battle.
