The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has stated that some Kosovo institutions with their websites have fallen prey to Russian cyber-attacks for a certain period and then returned. According to him, the aim of the Russian Federation is the hybrid war, which aims to destabilize the state institutions of security, stability and smooth running of affairs.

At the media conference, after the Government meeting, Prime Minister Kurti also spoke about Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, while emphasizing that Serbia has violated at least eight of the 11 articles of the Ohrid Agreement, therefore it is difficult to implement the agreement which is not respected.

He added that the draft statute is not a document of Kosovo and as such cannot be extracted from the agreement package in Brussels, "in such a way that the basic agreement is read and then placed in the center".

Meanwhile, regarding the cyber-attacks that have taken place by Russia against Kosovo's institutions, Kurti has emphasized that he stands behind the statements of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Donika Gërvalla, who spoke on behalf of the Government of Kosovo.

He has stated that it is true that some websites of Kosovo institutions have fallen prey for a certain period and have returned. According to Kurti, the aim of the Russian Federation is the hybrid war, which, “if successful, would result in the destabilization of our institutions of security, stability, and the smooth running of affairs ".

As for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, which has not yet been decided on the Council of Europe's agenda for May 17, Kurti emphasized that the institutions are not generally to blame for this because, according to him, they have filled in "everything from black to white in their reports and documents".
