The president of the country will also be elected, which is the third and very important step in the constitution of the institutions of the eighth legislature. This is what the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said when asked why the session for the election of the president has not been called yet.

Kurti said that this step will be taken as well, but did not mention the time for the session in which the president will be elected. Kurti made these comments after paying homage on the 22nd anniversary of the Krusha e Madhe massacre, while he added that they are paying homage together with the incoming president Vjosa Osmani.
