In today's parliamentary session, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti responded to the PDK MP, Fadil Nura for the two LVV activists, Arben Xheladini and Mon Balaj who were killed in the 2007 protests. Prime Minister Kurti stressed that the Government has done what it could do, he said that the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu has written directly to Romania on this issue, but has not yet received a response. Kurti said that after the protest of February 10, 2007, a report was published by the head of the second pillar of UNMIK, Rober Din, where it was concluded that the murder of Arben Xheladini and Mon Balaj was unnecessary and avoidable. The Prime Minister said that out of the team of police officers who took part in the protest on February 10, 2007, out of 11 Romanian police officers within UNMIK, 2 of them are probably murderers, they are no longer under the umbrella of UNIKM, they are in Romania. The Prime Minister said that it is time for the Kosovo Prosecutor's Office to act.
