The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, next week will participate in the summit of the six countries of the Western Balkans and the European Union in Slovenia. Although no agreement was reached at the last summit in Berlin, this time even after the visit of the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen in the region, an attempt will be made to sign the agreement of the six regional states on free movement with ID cards and the recognition of diplomas. The Government of Kosovo says that at the October 6 summit they will support regional cooperation only in the framework of the Berlin Process, while the opposition and civil society demand equal representation of Kosovo in regional initiatives. The spokesman of the Government of Kosovo, Përparim Kryeziu, says for KosovaPress, that the executive has already expressed the readiness to reach two agreements, but always on the basis of equal treatment between the signatory countries.
