During his official visit to Norway, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with representatives of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions and the Norwegian Federation of Employers. Emphasizing the reforms undertaken and positive indicators in the economy, Prime Minister Kurti stressed that social welfare is among the central priorities of the Government of Kosovo. It was emphasized at the meeting that the economy should be in the service of the well-being of citizens and that in order to maintain the competitiveness of producers, the increase of salaries in exporting enterprises precedes the increase of other salaries in the country. Representatives of Norwegian federations expressed interest in visiting Kosovo and increasing cooperation, the statement said.
