The "Bogdani Days" have been concluded with a solemn academy tonight on the 334th anniversary of his death, at the "Bogdani Polis" center in the Cathedral of Prishtina.

On this occasion, the prime minister, Albin Kurti, said that Pjetër Bogdani was a valuable researcher and theologian.

He said that it is up to the historians to talk about his works, while it is enough for the people to join each year in marking the "Days of Bogdani".

The Bishop of Kosovo, Dodë Gjergji, has spoken about the history and life of Monsignor Lazër Mjedë, saying that the days of his service were full of misery. He said that the life and work of Mjeda have been expressed with the saying "Bac, u kry", but according to him there is still a lot of work to be done for the people and the nation.

On December 5 and 6, under the initiative of the Institute of History "Ali Hadri" Prishtina, the Bishopric of Kosovo and the Institute of Spiritual and Cultural Heritage of Albanians Skopje, study and commemorative days have been organized dedicated to the figure, activity and personality of Pjetër Bogdani, author of the major work "Cuneus prophetarum" (1685), one of the most important compilations of the old Albanian literature of the 17th century. Pjetër Bogdani, passed away on 6 December 1689, in Prishtina.
