The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has said that the visits of state officials to the north of the country are not against anyone; therefore he added that any prejudice from each should be left aside. He emphasized that investments are being made in the north that have not been made in the past two decades, while he said that the closure of parallel municipalities in the north was necessary to pave the way for the growth of legal public services for citizens in the north. Meanwhile, he accused Serbia of being in favor of closure and restriction, as proved last week with the closure of roads at border crossings with Kosovo.

Kurti in front of the government cabinet on Wednesday, talking about his visit to the north yesterday, said that the same is necessary to understand the needs that the four northern municipalities have.

As for the closure of the Serbian parallel municipalities in the north, Kurti said that they have been operating illegally, so this has enabled Kosovo's institutions to provide legal services.

He mentioned the services that are expected to be opened in the north, while underlining that the same will be offered to the citizens.

According to him, Serbia is for closure and restriction, as was seen last week with the closure of roads in Serbia at border crossings with Kosovo.
