“The recognition of our country, cooperation in the region and the inclusion of the region in the European Union as soon as possible, is the right path to long-term peace, stability, and security, said the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, on the second day of the 25th edition of the roundtable organized by the prestigious British magazine “The Economist”, in cooperation with the Greek government.

In a press release from the Office of the Prime Minister, it is said that in the discussion panel on “Southeast Europe: Enhancing Co-operation and Solidarity”, Prime Minister Kurti reiterated the request for Greece to join the countries that have recognized Kosovo. “Let us not forget that 22 out of 27 EU member states have already recognized the Republic of Kosovo and likewise 26 out of 30 NATO member states”, said Prime Minister Kurti.
