Kurti Government allocates about 20 million euros to sectors affected by the pandemic

The Government of Kosovo today has allocated about 20 million euros to the sectors affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. About 8.5 million euros were allocated to social and pension schemes, another 6 million euros to businesses affected by the latest measures of the executive, and another 5 million euros to the health and safety sector.

While announcing the details of these decisions, the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, said that in terms of subsidies for businesses affected by the latest measures, up to 50 percent of salary and rent will be covered. He announced that the additional payment for doctors and nurses will be 150 euros, while for police officers 100 euros.
