We have defined the prevention and fight against domestic violence, violence against women and gender-based violence as a government priority, said the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, at a roundtable organized to mark the 10th anniversary of the Council of Europe on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence, known as the Istanbul Convention.

Prime Minister Kurti said that the Government will do its utmost to implement exactly the steps and measures required by it and that it will take over the obligations provided by the Convention.
