The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, traveled today (Tuesday) to Switzerland, where he will participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos.

According to the announcement of the Prime Minister's Office, the Free Trade Agreement with the member countries of EFTA (European Free Trade Association) will be signed in Davos.

"Kosovo is the only country in the region that, in addition to negotiating trade in goods, has also negotiated trade in services with EFTA. This agreement will create new possibilities for our local producers and companies, and will strengthen the economic and trade partnership between our country and Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Iceland as EFTA member states," it is said in the press release.

According to the press release, during his stay there, Prime Minister Kurti will also have meetings with state representatives of friendly and partner countries and with potential investors, as well as participate in the panel discussion titled, "Sustainable Democracies in an Era of Change", and the panel "Artificial Intelligence for Humanity: Ethical Innovation in the Age of Intelligence". Both of these panels will be held at the House of Kosovo in Davos, which has opened for the first time.
