The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that the results of the PISA test in our country show that there is still a lot of work to be done. He added that they are working on reforming the education system in Kosovo.

While Kurti spoke about the actions taken to improve the lives of young people, he was interrupted by a PSD (Social Democratic Party) activist, who came towards him whistling and throwing papers with inscriptions on them.

Meanwhile, the activist immediately was taken away by Kurti's close protection.

At the conference for Youth 2023 "Empower, Serve, Engage", organized by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the chief executive, Albin Kurti, said that the successes of our youth in film, art, sport, business and technology are beyond the ordinary, while adding that the role of the state is to convey talent and potential with direct support.

Among other things, Kurti emphasized that they are working on reforming the education system.

He said that at the beginning of 2021, over 28,000 young people were employed, while by July of 2023, the number of employees has reached over 60,000.

Kurti said that through the Super Puna platform, about 9,000 young people have been employed in over 6,000 different businesses.

Kurti emphasized that there is nothing more important that we can do as the Government than to prepare the next generation for the development and leadership of our country.

Meanwhile, the president of the European Youth Card Association (EYCA), Miguel Perestrello, called on the young people of Kosovo to join this project.

He said that the youth card is an instrument to join the informal list organized through members, while adding that it reaches young people in all ethnic groups and different fields.

Among other things, Perestrello said that they help countries in developing the expertise needed for development.
