The candidate for prime minister from the ranks of Vetevendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, has asked the PAK Board not to open new waves of privatization as they are contrary to the decisions in force. He said in a Facebook post that the PAK Board is completely illegally aiming to misuse the institutional vacuum by trying to start new waves of liquidation contrary to government decisions. "The board's calls for the alleged independence of the institution and the need for the country to privatize faster in order to generate additional revenues for the state budget, are further confirmation of our concern about abuses in this institution. I find it very important to publicly address the PAK board with a request not to challenge the institutional mechanisms and not to try to open new waves of privatization or liquidation contrary to the decisions that are in force", writes Kurti.
