The acting Prime Minister and leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement, after a walk through the square in Vushtrri, continued his meetings in Mitrovica.

Kosovo Police forces gathered today near the “Friend’s” café in Tavnik, South Mitrovica, where the acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti was expected to arrive.

When Kurti’s visit to the café was announced, citizens from the Democratic Party of Kosovo and Vetëvendosje showed up, prompting the owner to close the café, and the visitors left.

The café owner told the media that he decided to close the establishment to prevent tensions from escalating between the supporters of the two parties.

Kurti later went to another restaurant in the neighborhood, where he did not speak to the media about the purpose of his visit to Mitrovica and did not comment on the change of location or the restaurant.
