The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has justified the decision of ERO for the increase of electricity prices. Ahead of the government meeting, Kurti said that 70.4 percent of household consumers will not be affected by the increase in electricity prices or the effect will be minimal. He said that in the last two months alone they have imported 40 percent of electricity and this form, according to him, is unbearable for the state budget. He said that electricity import prices are not expected to return to previous figures and the country should continue to import electricity, therefore, as he said there is a gap that needs to be covered.
