The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today wished a happy Easter to the Orthodox believers, stressing that he will continue to care for them.

Kurti wished the Orthodox believers that the Easter holiday will bring them peace, justice and prosperity.

"I wish a happy Easter to all the citizens of Kosovo of the Orthodox religion. We will continue our care for you, Orthodox believers, and further guaranteeing the fundamental freedom of belief as well as general security. I wish you to spend the holidays in joy and peace together with your family and neighbors. May the spirit of Easter grant you peace, justice and prosperity, to all of you, our citizens," said Kurti.

Easter is one of the biggest celebrations of the Orthodox religion. It recalls the great event of the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, three days after his death on the cross.
