The extraordinary European and world successes that the sport of judo has brought to Kosovo are linked to the name of Driton Kuka. Thanks to his work, Majlinda Kelmendi, Distria Krasniqi, Nora Gjakova, Laura Fazliu and Loriana Kuka, but also Akil Gjakova have won many elite medals.

Today Kuka is announced as the best coach in the world and is known by the nickname "The Master". In an interview for KosovaPress, he narrated for the first time his successful journey in judo.

Kuka has revealed that if he didn't do judo today he could be a successful doctor.

Now that he has "trampled" the world with his work, Kuka has admitted that he needs rest and more space for his family.

Kuka has said that he will not leave the sport of judo as he will continue to be in the gym as the brains of the new coaching team.
