On December 16, for the first time in Kosovo, a European Judo Championship was organized, which ended in the best possible way, with a total of four medals from the four judokas who represented our country.

Akil Gjakova won the gold medal, whereas Dardan Cena, Nora Gjakova, and Distria Krasniqi won bronze medals, KosovaPress reports.

There were many reactions from many local personalities, and they were not missing even from the coach of the Kosovo Judo Team, Driton Kuka.

Kuka has reacted again, where on "Facebook" among other things he wrote that this European Championship that was held in Prishtina was the biggest victory of Kosovo. "The audience in the hall was excellent, the Albanian hospitality for athletes and officials from the participating countries in every corner of the country was wonderful. Many of them have come thinking that our country is not a developed country, but they returned with the best impressions! This time, this is Kosovo's biggest victory!", wrote Kuka on Facebook.
