The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, hosted a meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, Lieutenant General Arben Kingji.
According to the announcement, General Jashari first thanked General Kingji for his leadership in guiding the Albanian Armed Forces (AAF), as well as for the fraternal support and cooperation extended to the KSF. The meeting also covered current developments in the security sector and the role of the KSF in ensuring the security of Kosovo as a key contributor to regional stability.
“During the meeting, both generals highly appreciated the progress of the KSF in terms of development and modernization, as well as the performance of our troops in interoperability during multinational activities. At the same time, the importance of AAF’s support for the further development of the KSF was emphasized, particularly in the areas of education, training, and experience exchange, further advancing bilateral cooperation,” the announcement stated.At the conclusion of the meeting, the generals reiterated that deepening cooperation between the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania and the Kosovo Security Force remains a national strategic priority. In this context, strengthening defensive capabilities was recognized as essential for ensuring security and regional stability.
