The chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, said that in many Kosovar families, freedom has not yet arrived. While mentioning the missing, he added that not enough has been done.

Krasniqi, together with other MPs, paid tribute at the Memorial Complex in the center of Gjakova.

"Like every April 27, every time we come here to Meja, to the lawn of pain but also to the lawn of pride, there is no way to not remember that heavy and difficult journey of our people who gave and sacrificed so much for freedom that we enjoy today. As on any other day, but in a special way when we remember the missing, the everlasting pain of our family members but of our nation in general, we cannot help but think that not enough has been done. How many families of Kosovo, freedom has not really come. Without finding and clarifying the fate of the last disappeared, there can be no justice", said Krasniqi.
