The Former member of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Jakup Krasniqi has pleaded not guilty to the new charges with which he is being charged by the Specialist Prosecutor's Office in The Hague. He delivered a speech in The Hague where, among other things, he said that the accusations are based only on the basis of Serbia's lies. He demanded that the trial be expedited and added that he was being unjustly detained.

"Honorable judge, ladies and gentlemen of all segments of justice that you are called to defend and do justice, I ask that you understand me correctly, throughout my life I have been a man of integrity in the clearest way in relation to the strongest, but to the weakest I have never shown signs of savagery or contempt, other than human compassion. No matter how dangerous the injustice was and is even today, because it started from the same logic that I lived in Yugoslavia, I have never responded silently, today I am just saying a few words..."...
