Even if the "Open Balkan" expands with other countries in the region, this should not affect Kosovo's decision not to be part of this initiative, said the chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi. He said that the "Open Balkan" does not provide a platform on which Kosovo would have the security that would be treated fairly. Krasniqi stated that each state should see its own interests, adding that in Kosovo there is a consensus not to be involved in this initiative.
