Two skiers will represent Kosovo at the Gangwon 2024 Youth Olympic Winter Games.

From January 19 to February 1 this year, the Winter Youth Olympic Games will take place in the city of Gangwon, South Korea, KosovaPress reports.

The skiers who will represent Kosovo are Lirika Deva and Klos Vokshi, who will compete in the disciplines of alpine skiing, slalom, and giant slalom, while both qualified with the Olympic standard.

Coaches Kushtrim Deva and Ernest Sefaj will also travel with the team, whereas the head of this mission will be Bujar Turjaka.

1,900 athletes between the ages of 15 and 18 participate in these Winter Youth Olympic Games. Kosovo is one of the 79 participating countries.

Gangwon 2024 is the fourth edition of the Winter Youth Olympic Games, whereas for our team it is the second participation after debuting in Lausanne 2020.
