Kosovo's membership in NATO, Osmani seeks the support of Turkey

President Vjosa Osmani during a meeting today with the Minister of Defense of Turkey, Hulusi Akar, has requested the official support of Ankara for Kosovo's membership in NATO. Osmani and Minister Akar also talked about the possibilities for military cooperation as well as the possibility of supplying military equipment. The meeting also discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of education and training of officers and pilots of the KSF. Osmani also spoke about the current political situation, emphasizing the constant threats and provocations from Serbia, which aim to destabilize the region.
